Cheese & Pickle

The design brief focused on creating a distinctive brand identity for Cheese & Pickle that reflected the character of a traditional West Sussex delicatessen while appealing to a modern audience. The logo and visual identity were developed to feel approachable, artisanal and locally rooted, combining clean typography with a warm colour palette inspired by natural food ingredients. The aim was to communicate quality produce and craftsmanship while ensuring the brand felt welcoming and recognisable within a busy high-street setting.

Alongside the core branding, the project required a cohesive design system that could work consistently across signage, menus, packaging and digital platforms. Careful consideration was given to legibility, materials and scalability so the identity remained effective both in-store and online. This unified approach helped establish a strong visual presence, reinforcing the shop’s personality and creating a clear, memorable customer experience across every touchpoint.
