The Dorking Butchery

The design work focused on translating the butchery’s traditional craft into a clear and contemporary visual identity that felt at home on the high street. Careful attention was given to typography, materials and layout to balance heritage with modern retail appeal, ensuring the brand communicated quality, provenance and trust at first glance. The visual language was developed to feel confident but understated, allowing the products and craftsmanship to remain the primary focus.

Alongside the core identity, the project considered how design functioned across real-world touchpoints, from signage and packaging to in-store graphics and printed materials. Consistency across these elements helped create a cohesive customer experience, reinforcing the shop’s personality and strengthening recognition within the local community while supporting a welcoming, approachable atmosphere in the retail space.
